Supplementing to Aid in Prevention of Coronavirus

Here are the take-aways from this article as I understand it. I am purposely leaving out the dosages of the supplements because I want you to read the above article and discuss it with your own doctor if appropriate. If you are already sick with the virus, have underlying medical conditions, or are immune-compromised in any way, seek medical advice before trying any of this.

1. For ACE-2 Enhancement, regular aerobic exercise and a plant-based whole foods diet are recommended. Foods to eat: red grapes, add spices to cooking like rosemary, oregano, and turmeric. Supplement with Panax, alpha-lipoic acid, liposomal curcumin.

2. For mTOR inhibition, take Resveratrol and Quercetin.

3. For inhibition of 3CL Protease, take Elderberry, Houttuynia cordata, and ground flaxseed. ***Dr. Galland says if you have been sick for 3-4 days and have been taking Elderberry, to stop taking it.

4. To enhance innate immunity, take Vitamin D3, lactobacillus plantarum, beta-glucan, galactooligosaccharides, and/or arabinogalactan powder. Turkey tail mushroom is also recommended.

Of course: wash your hands, practice social distancing and wipe down surfaces of things you use every day (phones, eyeglasses, etc.)
